In this talk, Dr. Amalorpavanathan will share his experiences in starting the currently successful cadaver organ transplant program in Tamil Nadu. He will describe the challenges and facilitators in fulfilling the request of the then Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu to start a cadaver organ transplant program for the state.
