• Organising Chairman/ Organising Secretary of 6 major conferences/workshops
• As the member of hospital charges revision committee introduced the computer codes and charging protocol for all anaesthetic procedures for the first time in 2012
• As Associate Dean of Examinations and Curriculum successfully implemented E-portfolio student internal evaluation system for DM/MCh courses in 2016, prepared the Academic Calendar, Transcript Templates for DM/MCh and Diploma courses in 2017 and also done a major role in making the Online software for handling all aspects of admissions of post graduate and diploma courses in 2019
• As the core member of Convocation committee, prepared the Convocation protocols & templates and implemented them every year in an organized way from 2016
• As the core member of the committee, prepared the faculty promotion guidelines in 2015 and 2018 and also the Annual Performance Appraisal Report forms of the three wings of the institute
• Introduced Anaesthesia Consent forms in 2007, revised it in 2009, developed the E-posting (2011), E-Register (2012) and E-Duty Roster (2014) with the computer division to make Anaesthesia a paper less department
• Anaesthesia Record Form was revised thoroughly in 2018 which captures the pre-anaesthetic evaluation, plan of anaesthesia and intraoperative course more precisely
• Implemented comprehensive reporting of perioperative echo for both adults and pediatric cases in 2012 which was revised into two separate report forms for adult and pediatric echocardiography in 2019
• Nominated to the Statutory Academic Committee of the Institute on July 19, 2019
• The two year program, Diploma in Operation Theatre Technology (DOTT) was renamed as Diploma in Operation Theatre and Anaesthesia Technology (DOTAT) from the academic year 2020 onwards with significant efforts
• Developed the E posting software for posting Anaesthesia Technicians to OTs, Cath labs, MRI suits etc in 2020
• OT & ICU Covid Management Guidelines were prepared and posted in SCT intranet and internet in 2020
• The one month external posting of senior residents was split into two weeks each in AIIMS, Delhi (to learn Robotic surgeries and Thoracic trauma) and Institute of Heart- Lung Transplant & Mechanical Circulatory Support Service, MGM Healthcare Chennai (to learn Heart/Lung transplants, LVAD & ECMO). The posting in Chennai was a new initiative approved by the Academic Committee in 2020
• Practice parameters for delayed sternal closures of newborns and infants in congenital heart ICU instead of OT was developed and implemented in 2021
