About the Conference

The seminar will clearly define different ethical and welfare viewpoints involved in animal experimentation. It will showcase experts to speak on areas of animal experimentation in relation to stem cell research, alternatives to animal experimentation, animal models in drug development and regulatory issues, key statistical principles to decide upon the sample size and perform power calculations, and large animals to provide data on safety and efficacy of medical devices, surgical animal models and their welfare, etc and there will be group work on filling of B-Forms and scrutiny of a B-Form by an IAEC expert. Leading Faculty from Pan-India will lead the scientific sessions on topics enlisted.
