Objective of the programme
To support the treatment expenses of poor patients

Procedure to avail benefits
The patient has to contact Medico Social Worker at Information Desk to avail any benefits.
The patient has to produce a ration card showing BPL status. In addition, the following documents may be submitted if available:
- Certificate from local body declaring that he/she is not owning a house.
- Certificate from local body declaring the size of land owned by the household.
- Widow certificate (if there is widow in family).
- Medical records of a chronic patient in the family (mentally retarded / physically disabled / cancer patient / HIV afflicted / dialysis patient / bedridden member in household).
- SC/ST certificate and proof of no earning member in family.
BPL Patients/bystander is subject to interview by medico-social worker in order to arrive at the right classification.

Scheme is operational throughout the year

Depending on the financial status of the institute, the amount of subsidy is decided by the governing body of the institute.
